Internationally recognized artist Jenny Simon is a self-taught oil painter from Germany with over 30 years of experience.

IN MEMORY OF MY MOTHER
"My mother was a seamstress and I grew up watching her at her sewing machine working for hours on end. She made my dresses when I was a little girl and sometimes sewed the same dress for herself to make us look like twins. :>) She was only 53 years old when she passed away of cancer.
I was living in California when she became ill and she asked to see me. Little did I know it would be my last time. I booked my flight and told her that I would be there in 5 days. She counted the numbers out loud, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5". To that time I didn't know that she counted these days out loud to be able to collect all of her strength to stay alive until I got there. She passed away in my arms the first night after I arrived in Germany.
The more I was getting closer to her age when she passed, the more I felt the need to express myself in connection with her. I thought about bringing my art and fashion together and this fashion line was born." -- Jenny Simon
